PULSE 2016/2017 is a ‘short-sharp’ targeted professional development programme delivered over six months for producers who are presenting a season of work in 2017.

PULSE is a partnership project created by a steering group established by Arts Regional Trust (ART) in association with Auckland Live, Q Theatre and Basement Theatre

PULSE is for performing arts producers who are either starting out or have up to five or six years producing experience. Through their participation in the programme, each producer is set to gain and/or deepen existing skills, connections and confidence for the benefit of the season that each is responsible for presenting.

PULSE provides access to mentors and coaches who are available to provide personalised help and support.

The programme has been designed with the practical needs of producers in mind including hard-edged information to help produce a successful season and to access opportunities that extend networks for success.
