Mapping Creative Sector Investment and Outcomes – Report for Arts Investors Forum

The 2025 update of the Mapping the Auckland Funding Ecosystem for Ngā Toi – Culture, Creativity and the Arts report is now available. It summarises key funding data from organisations within the Tāmaki Makaurau Arts Investors Forum: Auckland Council, Tātaki Auckland Unlimited, Foundation North, Creative New Zealand, and Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage.

Overall, total funding in these organisations increased between 2022/23 and 2023/24 by $8.7m, with the main increase occurring through Auckland Council ($9.4m). Creative New Zealand funding increased by $1.3m, while Manatū Taonga and Foundation North funding declined by $1.6m and $800k, respectively.
