ART Venture was a unique acceleration programme bringing together the arts, business, education and investment communities to back creative entrepreneurs and producers working in the Auckland region who are keen to contribute to Auckland’s cultural and economic development.
The programme provided both start-up and experienced creative entrepreneurs with a flexible yet intensive learning environment that through peer-to-peer support, specialist coaching and customised content accelerates the creative, professional and enterprise development of each participant.

The talent, passion and drive of Auckland’s creative entrepreneurs was recognised and celebrated at the ART Venture Awards. At the 2015 Awards, held on the 17th of February, 14 people are to be awarded a place, worth up to $35,000, on the prestigious year-long creative enterprise accelerator programme ART Venture.
ART enterprise was designed to foster enterprise development and boost entrepreneurialism in key organisations that are central to a creative city region.
ART Enterprise resources organisations central to a creative city and region so they may resource skilled creative entrepreneurs to lead the development and implementation of creative enterprise projects and strategies, underpinned by that organisation’s strategic aims.
The past participant organisation in ART Enterprise are Q Theatre. ART invested in Q to enable the theatre community to further build capability in Auckland’s performing arts sector.
PULSE was a ‘short-sharp’ targeted professional development programme delivered over six months for producers who are presenting a season of work in the following year.
The programme had been designed with the practical needs of producers in mind including hard-edged information to help produce a successful season and to access opportunities that extend networks for success.
